My under desk treadmill has started making a loud noise. I have narrowed this down to a mechanical issue with the roller at the end of the belt. When I loosen the tension the noise disappears, but it also means once I step on the belt it stops moving even with the motor running. Is this a regular problem that can be fixed?

With hindsight this was quite silly, though, last year when moving into a family members house, we needed to move a Reebok Astroride 2.0 treadmill and started blindly undoing screws. We now need some help to fix it. The four large black screws on the bottom of the main frame have been unscrewed and whatever they were holding in place is now loose inside. I guess this is something to do with the belt, as the motor works but the belt will not move. Also, for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to undo the screw securing one end of the softdrop hydraulic mechanism... this screw is half out but the pressure of the rod is keeping it and everything else in place. Can anyone help us fix this?
