Just need to open three windows in my house. I do not need to replace their handles, just need them unlocked.

I have a room with a window facing the road. I need to do some caulking of the window in order to reduce the sound that is coming inside the room. Any other techniques to reduce sound is also interesting.

The windows are PVC and screw hinge needs to be removed carefully so chair can go outside. This is how I moved them in. Then the window needs to be put back.

I’m looking for a carpenter who can also perform various tasks. That person will need to be there on the day we move out to remove a sash window for our sofa to be taken out of the flat through the window. The sash window will then need to be re-attached neatly. There will also be other jobs to be done on the day: -Re-attach a door handle. -Remove all curtains from the curtain rails and possibly reattach the curtain rails more firmly as they are coming a bit loose. The ceiling is quite high and our step ladder is a bit wonky so if you have a step ladder you can bring it would be better. -Fix a few holes & scratched paint on one wall in particular. The person will need to be able to work around the movers so they might have to come in early and stay for a little while.

Help to fix tilt turn window so that it closes and opens fully. Appears to be blocked in the top right corner.

I need help sourcing and replacing a broken window stay / restrictor arm and connecting back to window to close it. Will cover cost of replacement stay but need someone to come look and help order replacement stay.

There are 2 tasks which are: Task 1 Install wooden panelling onto an outside office internal wall (pictured) - Wall dimensions are 200 x 349cm (see picture for the wall - which will have the pictures and attachments removed from the wall) - Wall has 2 plug sockets & cutting of the wooden panels will be required (you would need to supply these tools) - Have purchases the wooden panels already and there are 6 of them (with dimensions) 200 x 60cm Task 2 Install of privacy film on the upper bathroom window (pictured). I have purchased Insulating Film for Windows – clear plastic sheeting that goes on a window and you use a blow dryer to shrink it to fit. But I am not that tall. * The windows (4 of them) are 8.75’ (2.7 meters) tall. * The windows go to the ceiling at 11’ (3.4m). * I have a ladder where the top step is 3.5’ (1m). I have the blow dryer and a long extension cord. I am just not tall enough to reach the top of the window.

Fix window opening mechanism

I have a window that is having difficulty in closing. In order to close it I have to kind of lift it up and in, while I pull it shut. I think it might need a hinge replacement. As a result there is a small gap on the side where the hinge is when closed, which means there is a small draught.

We need the cords replaced in 2 sash windows to open and close. Will need own ladder and tools. Materials will be purchased when discussed.

I have bought 2 bronze barrel-style window stops to replace old ones, which now need screwing into a sash window frame. It should be straightforward. You can see from the photos we had to remove old ones because we lost the key so the new holes will go under the circles you see in the photos. It should involve drilling 2 holes and screwing the barrels into the frame so that the stopper can prevent the window from opening past a certain point. We need a handyman to just put a few things right for our end of tenancy: - Take down 2xblackout blinds and rehang the old ones - Touchup the paint from the blackout blinds. - Quick touch up of paint on some skirting’s and one door from cat scratching it (may need a quick sand/buff but we have all paint just need paintbrush etc) - Rehang TV on wall (I can assist with lifting it) This is just so we get our deposit back we don’t need a fancy job here just a quick touch up. Job can be done within the next 2 weeks.

Hi, we would need someone who can procure and install 90 degree hinges on 2 windows we have (see pictures). Existing hinges are 31cmx1.5cm and the new hinge already installed in one of the windows is 41cmx1.5cm (see pictures)
