If I had had to replace those shutters, it would have cost over £2000. I have been trying to get them fixed for the past couple of years after the installing company couldn't sort it out, and eventually said they weren't supplying those doors any more. House is 10years old. Window sill started to show signs of some kind of damage a couple of years after moving in but I ignored it. It’s got progressively worse, moisture is clearly getting in somewhere. I believe my neighbours have the same issue with the equivalent window. Responses so far suggest it may be necessary to remove and refit the window to find where the moisture is coming in and fill the gap to prevent the problem reoccurring. This will likely need a scaffold tower and makes it a bigger job.
