I’m looking for a carpenter who can also perform various tasks. That person will need to be there on the day we move out to remove a sash window for our sofa to be taken out of the flat through the window. The sash window will then need to be re-attached neatly. There will also be other jobs to be done on the day: -Re-attach a door handle. -Remove all curtains from the curtain rails and possibly reattach the curtain rails more firmly as they are coming a bit loose. The ceiling is quite high and our step ladder is a bit wonky so if you have a step ladder you can bring it would be better. -Fix a few holes & scratched paint on one wall in particular. The person will need to be able to work around the movers so they might have to come in early and stay for a little while.

The doors of my wardrobe don't slide properly - they have never worked since I moved in, so I have to lift them from the ground to move them. I am pretty sure that the bottom of the doors needs a rail added, or maybe it's just the wheels that need fixing? - Edit: having looked at it again there's no wheels on the bottom half so I can't imagine these would have ever worked properly...
