Practical recommendations about the electrical installation drawn from Metin's considerable experience. My task was carpentry, plumbing and electrical. It was great to have a single tradesperson to do all 3 and thereby minimise disruption for the tenants. Metin will be the first I consider for all my future jobs.

I have bought 2 bronze barrel-style window stops to replace old ones, which now need screwing into a sash window frame. It should be straightforward. You can see from the photos we had to remove old ones because we lost the key so the new holes will go under the circles you see in the photos. It should involve drilling 2 holes and screwing the barrels into the frame so that the stopper can prevent the window from opening past a certain point. The internal handle of my apartment door no longer works. Pressing it down does not move the latch (external handle still works). The door has ezcurra multi bolt lock - however I think the handle is completely separate. You will need to remove the ezcurra overlay panel on the side of the door to access the latch. May need a replacement handle entirely but can discuss further.
