I have 2x boxes for a 2 piece sofa. One is 54kg and one is 40kg. They didn't fit through the door, but they will fit this window. I'm looking for someone with a decent ladder to help me get it in. My plan is to lay the ladder from the window, then tie climbing rope to the box, and one person pulls it sliding up the ladder and the other pushes from the bottom. I have climbing rope and tape etc but not a decent ladder. I reckon it would take me + 1 or 2 people about 15 mins.
This was a difficult task and the guys executed flawlessly with little notice.

My wooden window (new build, 2nd floor, accessible with a ladder if outside inspection is needed) wasn’t sealed properly and it has started leaking when it rains heavily. Some of my neighbours have had similar issues, which the developer tried to sort by applying some glue from the outside, but it doesn’t seem to be enough. There is also water infiltration through the wall. I attach some photos. I would be keen for an easy fix (glue, isolation material etc) or advice on what can be done.
