We have a long window in our attic room, it’s a loft conversion and the ceiling is made of plasterboard. The curtain rail needs to be attached at either end of the window but also needs something to support it in the middle which attaches to the ceiling. For the doors, we have 2 internal heavy oak doors which need to replace the existing interior doors for two rooms upstairs. One of the doors needs planing down slightly to allow it to fit. The current doors are lightweight so I’m not sure if the new doors will need special hinges or something to reinforce the door frame.
