Hello, Our front door lock has a slight misalignment between the latch and the receptacle in the door frame, meaning that it needs to be slammed in order to get it to latch securely. I believe fixing it will require removing the receptacle, adding a thin wedge to correct the misalignment and replacing the receptacle (or some other solution you'd recommend)? (See photo). So door probably needs to be taken off at the hinges, and machine sanded, at the hinge side if possible (and maybe the top and base if needed) You need to bring your own tools to complete the job, and all waste to be removed off-site; and cleaned up after.
