Minor service

This is the most basic engine service a mechanic provides, but it can make a huge difference in whether or not your car can operate efficiently. Then checking fluid levels, windscreen wipers, windows, mirrors, steering, suspension, radiator, fan belts, and tire pressure. A roadworthy certificate or pink slip is a specific vehicle check that’s conducted to ensure your car is in a roadworthy condition and can be operated safely. In some states, it’s required when selling a car or may be required each year to confirm your vehicle is safe for registration purposes. A mechanic will check off a list of predetermined items to verify that your car meets a minimum safety standard set out by your state government. They’ll focus on safety, checking things like tires, brakes, steering, suspension, rust or damage, seatbelts, windows, lights, and your windscreen.
