Then, they will lift your vehicle to locate the drain plug and place an oil pan underneath while draining out the old motor oil.
Oil and Filter Replacement
After draining out the old engine oil, your mechanic will proceed with removing the old filter using a wrench. Then, they will put a small amount of engine oil to the gasket to avoid leaks. Once they replace the oil filter with a new one, they will pour in the correct grade and amount of oil suited for your vehicle using a funnel to avoid leaks.
