Not sure if this is critical - I live in a van (mobile home). I have a router and use TMobile for my internet. My computer has a lan cable plugged into the router. I also have many smart switches and devices, so I need a useable 2G network. Some devices require internet access. Internet access from my computer is not important, in fact it's a burden since my iCloud and dropbox are always trying to update and quickly use up all my data (30 Gb).
