I have purchased decorative moulding so be installed in the following rooms: - 2 x bedrooms - 1 x hallway - entryway - lounge room - small part of kitchen Second floor apartment. Walls are rendered brick. Old skirting has been removed. I have 24 lengths of 5.4m of skirting on-site in my garage. I have power available with a long extension lead for tools. I can help with some of the labour (such as taking cut pieces upstairs). Desperate for this to be done Friday as we are moving in Sunday and need time to paint it. The guy I had hired to do the job flaked on me :(

Hey airtaskers, I'm currently renovating my apartment and need a qualified carpenter to come install the skirting boards. Floors are a hybrid click-system and have been installed, the walls are brick with cement render. The skirting boards are ordered and paid for and are ready for collection from Bowens, Epping. The type of skirting is below, size is 85x18mm. The beading around the bottom of our small kitchen island needs replacing. I need someone to buy the beading, cut and install it. I’ll measure the length of beading needed and let you know before you come.

Remove old skirting board and replace with new skirting board or pieces of skirting board that have been saved from a recent renovation. You will need to mitre and cut the skirts to fit. You will also need to install and fit against the wall.

I'm currently moving out of a rental and need to repair some skirting boards that were ripped out as well as a connecting door frame. I cant find the existing mould for these skirting boards and frame (I imagine they’re quite old) and was looking for someone that could either quickly recreate the mould and fit it accordingly. Or just replace it with a similar style or band aid it in a way that’s not an eye sore. Looking for advice and quotes accordingly. The skirting boards are 16cm tall from the ground and would be about 3m in total length needed (3 pieces – 65cm, 2.6m , 40cm)

I have had floorboards installed and the skirting boards were removed. I require them to be refitted, glued and caulked to fill any gaps in the living room, hall way, two bedrooms as the first priority. Secondly, the floorboards will be finished after Saturday, so I will require the skirting boards to be refitted in kitchen and WIR. Nails and glue have been removed. $500 for first job and $200 to finish kitchen and WIR.

We have had two wardrobes removed. Behind the robes there was no plaster just old mortar. This needs to be ripped out and plasterboard replaced, and blended with the new plasterboard to the side. We also need new skirting board replaced along the length of the robes. Back wall length 220mm long and 270mm high, side wall 60mm. Please note it is TWO spaces. We need it done prior to 7/2 when we are having new carpet installed.
