We had several quotes for a pergola with flooring from a company. We are looking if we can have it done by a local builder but with an insurance and etcs.

Dismantle existing old metal pergola.

Needing a concrete retaining wall built to stop pavers from slipping after big rainfalls.

To cover the Pargola, with a polycarbonate or aluminium sheets. Couple of timber are damaged. Have quotes from few, but on a higher side. Quite to include labor and material - Due date: Flexible - Due date: Before Friday, 31 May 2024

New job details below: Current pergola requires re-painting and some reinforcements (one wobbly piece, current wood is fine), plus new shade cloth. It will require the handyman/woman to have their own tools (and ladder) and purchase the necessary materials (shade cloth, possible new trellis, nails, brackets, paint, new door lock - all to be reimbursed). Please build in time into the quote for the time required to purchase materials. Please also factor in time to remove old materials and deposit at local dump (any costs will be reimbursed). Hi there, our driveway is cracked and we'd like to extend it a bit so we've got a complete double driveway. There are a few sections that will need fixing as there has been a bit of movement causing lifting and cracking. Please see the photos and let me know what you suggest. We don't have a huge budget, just looking at quotes, you don't need to be a qualified concreter but need to know what you're doing. Not in any rush. Thanks in advance!!
