I am looking for someone to demo my bathroom before the builder arrives on March 10. Dates: The demo must be completed between Saturday 1st of March, Monday 3rd, Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th of March. Hours per the council are 7am-1pm on Saturday and 7am-4pm Mon-Fri. Size of bathroom: it’s small - floor 5m2, walls 14m2. Scope: The demo involves removal of one linen cupboard & adjoining wall. This is a non-load bearing wall (confirmed by structural engineer). Removal of shower, toilet, sink, tiles on floor and tiles on walls. The plaster above the wall tiling can remain in place. Ceiling/cornice is original and is to remain in place. Note there is no shower screen or bathtub. All protection materials have been purchased and will be completed before you arrive. Access: There is space on the driveway at the building entrance to park a truck/skip temporarily. The apartment is on level 1 (one flight of stairs). Tools: I will provide small jackhammer and floor protection materials. All other tools need to be provided. Quote: Please include cost of labour and rubbish removal (I don’t have a skip bin).
