Find experienced local carpenters in Coogee NSW

We really like this table which can be extended from a coffee table height to a dinning table (130cm x 76cm). However, we don't love the ceramic top and don't think the style will go with our other furniture. We are wondering if it would be possible to pull off the top boards/stats and replace it with some better quality wood or an artificial material which is better suited. I am not an expert, but I assume it would require removing the old pieces, cutting new ones to size and treating as required, and fixing them appropriating in the place of the old ones. I need the shelf that my oven sits on to be modified / trimmed according to the oven manual dimensions.

I live in a rental property in Coogee that has a bright red cabinet installed in the bathroom. I suspect it is Ikea but am not 100% sure. The surface is reflective and I would like it covered with a plain white, matte removable adhesive that is okay in a wet area but can also be removed easily when we vacate the property. Task is to source materials and complete the job.
