I’m after a well made outdoor small bar table to be made as I can’t find anything online for what I need. Must be weather proof stand up table / bar that I can work off or sip coffee. Hi there, Hope you are really well. We have just received approval for our apartment renovation so are looking to commence works for this project in 2 weeks. On October 9th. We have a ground floor apartment in Manly. We plan to renovate the apartment and there is a very important area which will require a certified builder which is where we are removing part of a wall, and will need to install a beam. The other areas marked in red are just increasing the door height, so no beams required. We have been working with Patridge Structural Engineers on our structural engineer report and plan (see attached). We have NSW spotted gum floating floorboards and they have been damaged by moisture. The small section near the sliding door is water damaged most likely caused by moisture trapped underneath a floor mat. We have the Quickstep spare timber here on site (one and a half packets of 16.28SQM QUICK STEP READYFLOR NSW SPOTTED GUM 1 STRIP (RFS4601H)) but we don't have any spare acoustic underlay. The skirting will need to be removed and put back. We will paint the skirting after the repair so no issue there. The affected area is not large and the repair will be limited to one and a half packets of timber. I’ve moved into a new rental and have an awkward permanent bench where I have put my old desk. I work from here multiple times a week and it just isn’t fit for purpose.
