We have NSW spotted gum floating floorboards and they have been damaged by moisture. The small section near the sliding door is water damaged most likely caused by moisture trapped underneath a floor mat. We have the Quickstep spare timber here on site (one and a half packets of 16.28SQM QUICK STEP READYFLOR NSW SPOTTED GUM 1 STRIP (RFS4601H)) but we don't have any spare acoustic underlay. The skirting will need to be removed and put back. We will paint the skirting after the repair so no issue there. The affected area is not large and the repair will be limited to one and a half packets of timber.
