We would like to improve the storage under our stairs. Ideally we want a shoe storage compartment at the bottom, and a cupboard at the bigger end. I have attached an image of what we want, as well as photos of our staircase/space. The dimensions of the current storage area are 1550mm (length) and 1400mm (height of the top of the triangle), and the staircase width is 1050mm. We don’t want polyurethane, so happy to discuss other material options & cost. I want to replace this built in wardrobe with a new one, either with a wardrobe with 2 (one mirrored and one white) or 3 (two mirror one white) doors and white/black rails/finishings. Wall and ceiling is concrete. I want a layout which has 8+ draws, over 1m+ bar for hanging (in one or split), with the other space flexible to move around allowing 8+ open compartments, in addition a flat space at top with room for general storage. Side of staircase needs re rendering. Approx 3 to 4 square meters. Join caused by where the brick work meets the concrete stairs. Currently rendered and painted. With some filler in the join currently. The timber flooring and skirting boards are going to be replaced so the work will be required to be done after the boards and skirting are removed and before the new boards are laid. Bottom panel of French door water damaged and fell off (original installation incorrectly used indoor wood door instead of outdoor treated wood). Hopefully can replace just the bottom panel as we decide what to do longer term but may require replacement. You would need to source materials (local Bunnings) but we would cover that cost (ie quote is ex materials)
