We need help from a carpenter for two jobs. 1. Resize/cut down Ikea coffee table & refinish top: we have an old Ikea table we love but with a new couch, it's slightly too big for the space. We're looking to have it cut down to fit better. And then the top refinished/buffed (sorry I don't know the technical term) because it's lost some of its finish and it showing its age. It's not typical Ikea particle board so hoping this can be completed without destroying it? Happy to chat once you see/review the table. 2. Help with an outdoor table whose wooden legs are rotting: We got this table 3 years ago with all the assurances from Domayne it would last a lifetime outside. Wrong. The legs are rotting so my partner cut off one leg and before he went further, I said let's get a professional opinion. We're looking to: 1. Restore length to the leg that's been cut off, currently being held up by a mini ceramic pot 2. Review the other 3 legs, amputation needed? 3. Prevent further deterioration, maybe epoxy coat? 4. If the legs can't be saved, can you build new/better legs for the table top? We have flexible WFH days and RDOs (Wednesday or Friday) so date/timing and due date is flexible. Seeking a professional carpenter to build a custom gate for the front of our house. Job includes fabrication, painting and fitting. Picture of exact design in pictures. I believe the existing gate frame can be used for the job.

I would like a replica wooden mail box made, the current wooden house style mail box has rotted. The original mail box in the photo can be supplied for you to copy and use for dimensions. The approximate dimensions are: - the base of the mail box is 25cm wide across the front and 28cm down the side (deep) - the height from the base to the tip of the peak is 45cm There is a circular area where a rolled up newspaper would go, above the front mail slot, that goes from the front right though to the back. You would need to supply the wood, which would need to be a quality that could be exposed to water and outdoor conditions, as well as the nails or whatever you woudl need to put it all together along with the back door hinges and latch, I would reimburse you for the cost of these. I would supply the tins of correct coloured paint and undercoat (to be returned to me). I can deliver the old mail box and paint to you, so you can do the job at your place, rather than you coming to me, and I can collect it from you as well. Job is not urgent it just needs to get done. The mail box, after completed, will be attached to a metal plate, the same size as the base of the mail box, and that plate will have a pole attached to it, happy to talk to you about whether you can deal with the metal pole part of it. To supply and install quarter round timber moulding for timber floor skirting. You will need to cut each angle at connecting corners in order to make it look like without making sharp edges. Wanted to have a white primed moulding as below.
