I am in an apartment in civic. In the lounge room there is one wall 4m 800 and the other 6m 200. I would like to have the skirting boards removed and the gap between the plasterboard and concrete floor sealed with some type of waterproof product.

I have all the parts for a Flexi Storage Home Solutions Double Slot shelving system, but my drill is not strong enough to mount the supporting strips into my wall (plaster board over brick). This job requires a drill with masonry bits, and a stud and electric cable finder. The wall is about 360cm wide and I'd like to install 6 to 8 strips, but would appreciate your expertise. My PlayStation 5 won’t turn on anymore

My toilet cistern keeps hissing at regular intervals. I think there’s an issue with the valves. The water tap to the toilet is behind the wall, so I can’t turn it off. I need someone who is familiar with how the valves in a toilet cistern work, so they can identify the problem and fix it.

We have a few handyman jobs we need help with. Firstly, we need to cover the gaps in our wooden front gate so our dog can’t see out between the slats or underneath (we assume the easiest way is to attach large, thin piece/s of marine plywood or cement sheeting to the back of the gate, which will need to be supplied and painted — we have the matching paint — but open to suggestions). We also need to fill a gap between two outdoor walls so our dog can’t see out (gap is 70cm high x 19.5cm wide)— open to suggestions on cheapest way to do this. I’ve provided photos of both gaps. Secondly, we need approx 8 pieces of art hung on brick walls — we don’t have hanging materials so all will need to be supplied.
