I need a plumber to come and fix a couple of our taps. One is dripping and the other is spitting out water to the side of the water flow. We also have one whistling toilet. I ripped up old carpet and found beautiful hardwood floorboards underneath. I’m wary of damaging the floor when removing the old carpet edge tack strips (approx 22m in total around the edge of the room) plus one transition strip (2m) so seeking some help to gently remove them without marking the floor. I’m aware there will be small holes once the strips are removed - will consider options once I’ve had a look after their removal.
