What do dryer installation services include?
So you’ve recently made the purchase, but you’re not sure how to install a vented tumble dryer. We know not everyone’s good with tools and machinery. At Airtasker, we got you covered. We understand that appliances can be difficult to install for some people. It’s better to hire a trusted professional to ensure your dryer is properly installed and working. Dryer installation services include:
Preparing the installation site
The moment you plan to install a new dryer, it’s important that your installation site is ready. Your Tasker will ensure all the connections and, depending on the type of dryer, the proper exhausts or vents should be ready and safe to use. Should there be any issues with vents, exhausts or electrical systems before your installation, you may need to get a handyman to have these checked.
Preparing your new dryer
Dryer installation technicians could also help you unbox your dryer if needed and check if there are any defects or damages if you’re not familiar. They can also help you check if everything supposed to be in the box is all accounted for. If you have an existing dryer, you could also ask them to disconnect and tear it out for you if they can. Then they’re going to have it ready to complete your condenser or vented tumble dryer installation.
Connecting your appliance
Not sure how to install a tumble dryer yourself? Don’t fret, since a Taske can take care of it for you. They take charge of connecting your appliance to the electrical socket. Suppose it’s a 2-1 washer dryer installation. I have a dryer that needs to be removed from the wall bracket it’s mounted on. Unbox new dryer. Install new dryer on existing wall bracket. You will also need an electric drill to remove and then reinstall the laundry doors that you see in the photos.
Simon did a great job uninstalling my dryer and reinstalling my new one. It wasn’t an easy job - both the laundry doors and shelving had to be removed so he could complete the job. He did this without complaint - just got on with it. Lovely guy with great chat… which doesn’t interfere with getting the job done. Thanks Simon ☺️

I have 3 laundry/bathroom tasks. 1. Highest priority is to move the cold water tap for washing machine and remove hot water tap (not needed) so that I can stack a dryer on top of my washing machine. (see pics) 2. Install a new towel rail. I have a drill but not the correct drill bits to drill into tiles. 3. Install a new shower head.
