Doing a small fit out and need 2x 4 down lights and associated switches installed. Power available in the spaces. Will need guidance on what type of light to install. No photos of spaces yet as frames/plaster are just going up

Qualified electrician needed to install a kitchen down light

I recently had downlights installed in my apartment but they’re quite dazzling and bright. To fix this I bought these diffusers but have no idea how to install them. (Photos of lights and diffuser sample attached) They either need to be cut to size and attached to the ceiling, above the light or have the light pulled down and installed between the light and the ceiling attachment. (When trying to pull down the lights they wouldn’t fully budge so didn’t want to force them, but maybe I’m just not doing it right). To be honest, I’m not sure how it’s done but I think it should be a fairly quick job for someone who knows what they’re doing. (If not that quick, I’m open to negotiate the price, just let me know). Initially I just have one job like this but another to come for whoever wants to do it.

Bathroom inline duct exhaust fan not working. Using a 150mm duct fan, accessible from a manhole. There is power where the fan is connected.

A section of my wall contains the panel for the air conditioner and also the phone/buzzer to allow people into the apartment. Both fail to have any electricity coming to them and I assume an electrical failure in this section of the wall. I need an electrician who specialises in this to review and repair this.

The ceiling smoke alarm is beeping signalling a battery change is needed. I need someone with a tall ladder (4m) who can deactivate the smoke alarm and change the battery

Our old wired in smoke alarm is chirping at regular intervals. Last time this happened to another one we had to replace it as it is 20 years old. The old one in the pics is with the lights. The other pic is of the model we swapped too that covers carbon dioxide too. Cost is to do the work but you will also need to add on cost of the actual alarm for you to provide.

3 x smoke alarms need batteries + replacing. Also have broken light switches that need fixing if there is time. They are switches with programmable dimmer and have cracks in the middle of the button so the button keeps falling off.

Removal of old oven, including power/electrical and install new oven. It's a 60cm oven. Original oven is connected to mains, the new one is a 240v wall socket (no need to install), just a safe removal of the old power cord. Needs to be a fully licensed electrician that can provide a legal invoice. New model is a Westinghouse WVE6314SD. I am happy to dispose of the old oven, however if you'd like you're more than welcome to it. It's is broken but may be good for parts.

I need a handyman that can fix electronics to obtain and solder a $6 Jaycar switch into my recliner sofa. https://www.jaycar.com.au/spdt-250v-3a-miniature-micro-switch-with-lever/p/SM1038 I have the part number and photos of how to fix but I'm not physically present at the moment so can't fit myself. The sofa is currently intact but stuck in an open position. It has two switches at each end (4x in total). One to open, one to close. Only one of these on one side has broken and this will need to be de-soldered and replaced with a new one. It took me around 1 hour when I did it previously. The fix can be crude as long as it works. It's not a precision soldering affair. Process: - Disconnect power pack - Flip sofa onto it's back by tilting it - pull back fabric on the broken side - use a stubby (or short) phillips screwdriver to undo the switch circuitboard - Desolder/cut off the broken switch - Remove the steel actuator lever off the new one (not needed) - Use pliers to trim tabs of the new one a little so it physically slots into the circuitboard holes - Resolder the new one in it's place - Refit is the reverse of removal, refit battery pack and test sofa (should work fine) Please refer previous work that you've completed in the response to the task. Hi. I am looking to replace my current 60cm oven with a new Bosch oven being delivered on Friday the 3rd. Installation to occur after the oven is delivered on Friday or the days immediately after. E&S to confirm delivery window on Thursday 02/01 Current oven is plug in, new oven is hardwired. Bosch series 8 HRG6753B1A. Old oven to be placed on nature strip for hard rubbish.
