I have completed renovating my house, but I have noticed that uneven floorboards are causing a bump in the carpet. I’d like to replace a piece of the hardwood flooring with another piece of timber so it’s level.

There are several marks on floorboards which need to be replaced. I have the floorboards, it's simply lifting and replacing the boards.

Hi there We have sisal from International Floor Coverings in our home. Over the years it has been damaged.. in stairwell from water on one stair and landing. And also in entrance. We have relatively good sisal in our media room/ lounge. We are wanting to lift it and use it for these damaged areas and maybe make a mat or two ( as the product is expensive ) and then lay new carpet in back room ( which we would engage a carpet store and their contractor to do ) We are preparing the house for sale or rental. We can properly lift the sisal in entrance it’s small, approximately 2 metres by 3.5 or thereabouts And the landing is I’m posting hourly rate. We are strapped for cash but please put forward your quotes. I’ll post photos when we are back at the house I thought I’d get the ball rolling. Here is the sisal in the lounge area. The floating floor has expanded with the moist air from the recent weather and is bowing up next to one wall. The expansion gap along that wall needs to be increased. I expect it will a maximum of two hours to trim a maximum of six metres length of flooring (length ways) and there are spare planks if needed. - Due date: Before Friday, 20 May 2022
