Hi everyone, A tradesperson started working on my floors and has since pulled out mid-job after many delays because they overcommitted themselves to other jobs. In the meantime, they have punched out all the holes and put putty in the floorboards. They have done a preliminary sand of two bedrooms and started the third. The area to be completed on the floorplan is the three bedrooms, hallway and living area (kitchen, bathrooms and laundry are tiles/lino). I'd really like it to be completed as soon as possible, but I also need to find someone who knows what they are doing as some of the boards are cupped (eg. not just hiring a sander from Bunnings, which I also considered doing myself but was dissuaded from doing from a handyman who had seen the boards). I'm looking for someone who has done this professionally, is a good communicator, and can commit to the job and the proposed timeframe.
