In the recent floods we had an internal wall causing one of our bedrooms to get wet. We pulled up the carpet perfectly in tact and dried it and the underlay. We are looking for somebody to re-lay the carpet asince wasn't damaged and it would be an awful waste to have to get new carpet put in.

I have 2 rooms, one is approximately 4.2m x 4.2m & the other approximately 3.9m x 3.9m that need carpet laid. I have the carpet on site but don’t know how to join it or cut it to size. I’m not using underlay or smooth edge, it’s just loose lay with a bit of glue near the door & corners if needed. This is just a stop-gap till I apply for the disaster grant & get it done properly. I got flooded last Sunday by just a small amount.
