Small area of carpet (2 m2) needs refitting after water leak from aircon unit.

I dropped black hair dye out of the tube onto my carpet 9 months ago and it has left a deep dark 12cm stain thats 1cm to 1.5cm wide. I need the stain removed or the carpet replaced in just that section if cannot remove. I have small patch same carpet as spare. Can anyone help? - Due date: Flexible
