Find an experienced flooring expert in St Kilda East

Task 1 - Four floorboards need replacing and I understand they are solid timber floorboards. One skirting board will need to be removed to have the floorboards replaced and the skirting to be put back. Task 2 - the entire upstairs would need sanding back and repolished. If you’re able to do one or both tasks, I’m ok if you can only replace the floorboards, as I’ll look for a separate person to do the sanding. The budget is flexible as I know of you are able to do both tasks - then we are talking a complete different budget.

Help! I accidentally flooded 2m of carpet directly outside my bathroom from a faulty washing machine connection. I need someone with a wet vac or carpet cleaner to come and suck up the excess water as quickly as possible. It’s a small job (under 2m) of flooded carpet but I am on the 2nd floor. I need the concrete floor of our apartment flattened out so engineered timber floors can I’m installed. There are high spots that need to be taken down with a grinder and the floor needs a quick pass to clean up. There may need to be some levelling compound to go down in the back part of the apartment but depending on price I’m happy to do myself. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with stair access , they are pretty wide. Dust extraction is a must. I could be interested in having the flooring installed also depending on price and experience. The total area is roughly 65m2, 2 bedrooms, a hallway and L shaped dining room.

I have a flat in St Kilda East to be sold and I would like to put a hybrid floor in the Lounge room/Kitchen which is one room of 3x7m (minus the kitchen cabinets which is approx. 1.5 sqm). The floor is concrete. There is carpet at the moment and tiles in the kitchen which I should be able to remove myself and dispose of. I am thinking to buy the the flooring from Fowles Auction and scotia as per needed (Skirting boar are not to be removed). Probably to be done at the end of coming week (new kitchen to be installed at beginning of the week). I am looking to see the feasibility of doing this (so how much you would charge) and how much to buy (5% or 10% wastage?)
