Replace two floor boards I have floor boards spare

I have two damaged laminate floorboards, the two boards are in the middle of a large room approx 4m from the closest wall. I would like to replace the boards with spares that I have. I’m not sure if the boards can be cut out and replaced or if boards need to be removed starting from the closest wall to get to the centre.
