De-nail jarrah floorboards Remove old nails from old floorboards To prevent ‘exit wounds’ on the dressed/smooth side of floorboards they need to be pulled from the underside using pliers. I have approx 80off floorboards with 10off nails in each board (average… some more, some less). That’s 800off nails. It take less than 10sec each nail… more stubborn ones maybe 20 seconds. So average 15 seconds each. So that’s 1200 seconds to do the lot (or 80 minutes or 1 hr 20 mins). Sometimes the nails snap off and need to use a nail punch to knock them through… allow additional 20 minutes for this. When the board is complete I need them stacked neatly on a pallet… allow additional 20 minutes for this. That’s a total of 2 hours.. I reckon it will take 2 - 3 hours to complete this. I have bought new pliers for this job and they work great.

My absolutely lovely and well meaning dad had someone come in and lay my floor while I was away to help me get ready for my house sale in a couple of weeks. As you can see from the photos, he was clearly scammed and the floor layer has long gone - no, there are no legal ramifications I can turn to unfortunately (have already enquired extensively!) About 62sqm of vinyl plank has been laid. Roughly 70% is buckled and lifting. Some thin sections have been cut at (possibly to allow expansion?) and other parts appear to have had some attempt to superglue them down. It jut all needs to be flattened as much as reasonably possible. I don’t mind how much needs to be cut and timber gap fill used or anything like this. I don’t expect a miracle but am hoping for it to get to the best it can. I am writing 1234 in the budget section as I have no budget in mind - I require a quote. - Due date: Flexible

Require timber skirting boards installed in old house

Our salon floorboards were put on top of carpet and they keep moving and getting damaged and coming up, I want them pulled up, carpet pulled up too and taken ( have spares for the damaged ones ) then boards relayed. Salon is in Vic Park and has 3 very small rooms and a front entrance. It needs to be done on Sunday 26th and Monday 27th of September when we are closed for the long weekend as we are open til 9 most nights and booked until Feb.
