Are you an experience bloke, handy with your hands and competent with your tools with a yobbo-esque up beat attitude to just "give anything a crack mate"? Good, as I need you to install the final stage of a gate motorisation with a kit that I bought a while back. It is a solar powered with 2 hydraulic linear actuating arms a magnetic latch and battery along with pretty much all that is needed to get this baby swinging easy. I cannot stand incompetence, dishonesty or poor communicators so if you aren't awesome and have the skills necessary or tools let's not waste each other's time. A relatively straightforward task - I need someone with welding expertise and the necessary equipment to help me weld 2 steel gate hinges to a metal swing gate frame and screw fix the other side to a timber post. The swing gate is already in place, and there are already 2 steel gate hinges welded on but as it is a very heavy gate (3m width steel frame with timber pickets), there is obvious metal fatigue on the top most hinge. The previous top metal hinge failed and I replaced it but there are signs that the same thing will happen again. It’s obvious that the design of the gate is imperfect and unable to take the full weight of the swing gate. I’m hoping that the addition of 2 additional hinges to help carry the load will ease the stress on the top most hinge. Feel free to ask any questions.

Our automatic garage gate functions however when we close it, it doesn’t stop when it’s reached fully closed but instead it then goes into open mode. So whenever we need to close it, we have to wait until the gate has reached the fully closed position and then press the button again so that it stops. This issue isn’t experienced when opening (it stops when it is fully opened). Looking for someone experienced to fix it. Price includes all labour and parts necessary to fix it.

The gate is damaged and is on the ground at the moment, one of the wheels has broken off the gate, it needs to be welded back and then the gate needs to be put back up.
