I completely forgot to drain my MaxWatt MX8000iS generator at the end of summer. It needs to have the fuel & carbie drained, and a service (check oil, battery, spark plugs, air filter, etc). According to the manual, these are all tasks that can be done by a competent layperson (which clearly rules me out); nor do I have time. Is there an experienced person/mechanic/sparkie out there who can sort this for me? The unit weighs in at around 105kg, so it needs to be done on-site. My small Yamaha generator was working fine when last used it 1 year ago, but has sat unused since then. It won't start up now; I have changed fuel, spark plug and sprayed carburettor cleaner and Start Ya Barstard and on 2 attemps, it almost wanted to start but alas didn't. I feel it's something simple for those in the know, but i am now stumped. Will pay if you can get it going, but won't pay if you can't (sorry). It's a Yamaha EF1000iS Inverter Generator and has never given me any problems till now
