We have a decommissioned power support pole on our property that we would like brought down. The pole was used to support the live power line that connected to the house from the main overheard supply. We have since supplied the house with underground power, and thus the support pole has become obsolete and no longer serves a purpose. Western Power have advised that removal of the pole from its current position is our responsibility, and have also granted us permission to have it removed as the pole is not connected to the power supply. We also would like to retain the pole once removed (either whole or in segments).

Just moved into a new home with two kitchens. I had one (it was in what is now the master bedroom) removed and the remains of it can be seen on the walls; there's a couple of holes, some chips and general tidying things up, some pipes remain jutting out also but happy for some inventiveness to cponceal etc. There are tiles still on the wall but I can remove those if required. There's a second spot in another room where I removed a counter top; it's left similar remains but way less area and way less to do in general.
