Hello, I'm Dilini from Oscar Wylee. We need to replace the motorized drum in our shop front roller door in our store in VIC Knox by the Door contractor, However, they have mentioned that we need to arrange the removal of the ceiling as per the photo attached prior to work (length of the drum and 400mm wide). Due to the size of the drum it needs to be lifted straight down when removed and straight up when being replaced. They anticipated the replacement of the drum works to take approx. 2-3 hours. It will take a couple of nights to complete the work. i.e one night to cut the ceiling and replace the roller shutter, then another night to patch and paint the ceiling.The whole ceiling will need to be repainted as well afterwards. Plus the removal and reinstatement of any security cameras and lighting in the way too. We have to do all this work outside the trading hours. Can you please send us a quote ?

Not sure how much it will cost... One side of the wall of the garage is cement sheeting fixed on timber frames. The base timber plank which lies flat on the concrete floor is rotten. The bottom edge of the cement sheeting is supposed to be fixed on this base plank, but, because the plank is rotten, the bottom edge is not fixed. So the storm blew part of the sheet away. You need to do 1. Replace the rotten timber plank lying on the concrete floor. You can tell me the dimensions of the plank and I can buy it for you. 2. Replace the cement sheeting with Fiber Cement Board.
