I need help with filling a gap on the brick wall that is by my bedroom window. The gap is on the exterior side by the window. I live on a third floor, so the gap needs to be filled from the inside. Please see attached photos for details. The photo I have attached was taken from the outside - I was able to get my hand out of the window as I opened it and slightly moved the fly screen. The distance between the opening of the window and the gap is about 94cms.

I've got 4 very rusty hinges on a kitchen cupboard that won't budge with a screwdriver (some of the screw heads have been stuffed by previous owner), also one screw on one of the doors that is also stuffed.
