We need a ceiling fan installed in our kitchen/ lounge. Remote control operated fan supplied by me. Existing 5 gang light switch / power is available close by. Ceiling fan to be secured to timber joist in ceiling. Joists run perpendicular to windows and contain blocking between joists. Two story home with bedroom above and no access from above. I can sort out reinstatement of plasterboard if you need to drill holes to ceiling to thread cable to new location.
