I have hung a new internal door between garage and house and the strike plate doesn't line up so I need the two way door handle and strike plate installed. Pics are of the current new door and the strike plate is too high and needs to be lowered.

I burned my bathroom counter top with iron curler. It has turned colour bubbled up and shows cracks..see photo. Is this fixable and how much would be the cost?
