Hi, I am looking to improve my elderly parents current situation with their bathroom. Currently it’s a bath they have to step over to shower and as they are getting older this is not ideal. Looking to do walk in shower, perhaps fully waterproofed tiles with floor drain and small glass screen. Update sink and cupboard. Looking for quotes to complete the works, keeping in mind trying to keep costs down as they are pensioners. Thank you. I am happy to do the demolition myself if it keeps costs down. Will post photos and dimensions when I get to their place.

I initially tried to get someone to fix this a few weeks back. At that time the skirting timber on the right of the secretaire hadn't yet come off, as in the first photo. A guy gave me two times he'd come to do the job, and he flaked both times. Another guy asked me to send photos then never responded. By that time the timber had totally detached, completely exposing the particle board underneath, as in photo 2. Photo 3 is of the detached piece and photo 4 is the other side of it. The last photo is of the other, left side, which has started to split. I'm not so concerned about the left side, although it would be nice to get a solution there as well. The main thing, however, is to fix the right side. I'm not that concerned with appearance, more a functional solution that won't leave exposed particle board. Maybe long screws and some glue/fill would be fine for the right side? I'm putting $50 for this job as i'm not sure how much it would cost. Please feel free to provide what you believe is a realistic price.

As per the photo, I am in need of some Perspex (which I have) to be cut to size and somehow attached to the existing gate. The reason being is that currently the external lighting bollards render the pool non-compliant due to the fact that a child could climb over the fencing. Professional removal of hard water stains on shower glass. These are etched in pretty well so needs to be rehabilitated beyond the simple cleaning with products from Coles that I've tried already. Also looking for rehabilitation of the grout in the shower recess. Again hard water buildup along with discolouration. - Due date: Before Saturday, 13 January 2024
