The fence bottom is scratching the floor, need to be trimmed, and the lock is out of alignment, so it's hard to lock and unlock.

1) Replace chipboard on sides and re-fit chipboard to bottom of cabinet. Seal both sides of chipboard with water-proof sealant. 2) Rebuild timber gate frame. Replace or re-fit latch. Paint.
