I have a 2012 caddy that had a rearview mirror with rear camera fitted a few years ago. The unit was expensive and well fitted, but the camera connector that sits in the jamb of the tailgate has been damaged by incorrect placement/door closure. I need a new connector fitted that has the trigger wire to activate the camera when selecting reverse. I believe that the rearview mirror and incorporated screen are fine as is the rear camera (once reconnected). I am based in Vaucluse or can meet in the indoor Westfield car park in Bondi Junction where the work can be done. My offer is for labour, I realise parts will be extra.
