Need to paint a portion of ceiling. It has some stains which needs to be removed. Approx area 2m x 4m.

The ensuite ceiling paint is peeling. I have done a small area to test my method of fixing it. It involves 1) scraping back all of the ceiling to make sure all of the flaking or bubbled paint is removed and then 2) scrubbing the ceiling with a cleaning product I will supply until the colour changes from yellow to white. Paint has come off wall from blue tack / wall hooks being removed. Patch it up and paint to match wall. Doesn’t need to be perfect - you can see the quality of the previous patch ups that have been done on the same wall by previous owners. As long as it’s better than that!

I am doing the light sanding and preparing the surfaces (as per photo) . I will provide the oil (Water based oil) - I am wanting 3 to 4 coats. The water based oil dries quickly to enable faster painting (see attached oil tin attached ) - it requires a long pole (no ladder)
