I have peeling plaster and paint in the corner of my living room wall that needs fixing.

My entry way is painted black and I need it repainting in white, whilst painting the ceiling black. Few other off jobs for painting but would like to see how this one goes first. The steps themselves will one carpeted so don't need painting. Walls to be lexicon white.
