Paint a wall (approx. 4m x 2m). It has already got an undercoat, it requires a layer of black paint and then copper over the top. We have the paint but no other painting tools will be provided - there is a step ladder. A test patch of the black and copper has already been painted in the corner. Painting will need to be done during business hours 8.30am - 6pm on a Thursday.

The suite comprises 20 sqm in area with a ceiling height of 3.9m. There is a window frame facing the street and an internal window facing the corridor. The prep would include removing screws from the masonry walls and patching. I expect the ceiling would require a single coat and the walls, 2 coats. Existing colour is white and new colour would also be a white shade. The suite is located on 2nd floor of a building in King Street, Sydney. Access is by stairs or lift.

I replaced 7 oyster lights with downlights in my apartment. However, there are some holes in the roof where the oyster lights are removed. Those holes need to be plastered over and then painted. My apartment is in the Sydney CBD. There is a car park for tradesmen in the building. I'll get the paint.

Ceiling painted. PHOTOS: Curiosa common room is for reference of what I would like (minus the gold stars as most likely that part will need to be DIY, I'm assuming unless they could be painted?) Not sure if it's possible with a spray gun but the original people who did this used sponges as it's a much smaller space. Open to ideas and suggestions. STUDIO: Around each poles and in corners to be gold 'cloud' type design like the photo reference. Space is about 90sqm Pillars (currently mottled gold) to be all black. Only the highest part of the ceiling to have the gold design. RECEPTION: Undecided if we should just keep the whole reception area all black or also include the design. Space is about 20sqm. Parts of the studio ceiling will need to be sanded down as there are some dodgy patches to cover holes as seen in photos. CBD location, second floor. We are only closed in the Christmas break so this is the only time I have available for this job. We have last classes on Sunday 22nd and reopen Jan 6th.
