This pergola support needs to be replaced. I can source a replacement H3 treated Pine beam of the correct dimensions, if you can source it for a reasonable price, that would be ok too. I can also hire steel support and prop equipment too but if you have that equipment that will be fine too. It looks like rot or possibly termite, hence the H3 treated replacement. I would like the rest of the structure to remain in place, if possible. There will be some of the cross supports will need to be replaced as well, but once the beam is done, I can manage that part. I am also open to quotes on total replacement as well.
