Our toilet seat fixings won't stay in place. I've tried getting new fixing, bolts etc. but its beyond me. Essentially there's a metal plate that fixes to the toilet with a bolt. You place a plastic expanded in the hole and when you screw the bolt in the plastic expander...expands and is supposed to hold the fixing plate solidly in place...ours doesn't and the seat comes off all the time...for the right person this is probs a 15min job
