Hey everyone, The isolation tap which controls the water supply to my apartment has been bricked over at some stage and I require urgent access to it. The bricks and concrete/mortar in the recess behind will need to be removed and the tap checked over and confirmed to be working. If the tap is not in working order, it will need to be replaced. The water on the toilet continuously run - I have to lift the lid and manually elevate the black tip to get the water to stop running. Please check if the flapper and diaphragm valve are working. If not, change the fill valve. Please give 2 quotes, if 1) only replace flapper and / or clean the diaphragm valve 2) replace the full valve Flapper - Look if it’s letting the water through - look and see the rim Diaphragm valve - see if there is any debris on it - rinse it off - put it back on and flash the debris out
