My shower leaks water into the room next to it. Plumber says it’s due to water seeping in from the tiles, not pipe leaking. What shall be done with the floor behind it? The affected area is about 50cm x50cm Can the base floor be changed so that it’s new and healthy? Or more renovation needed like changing the wall and other things too? Please suggest and quote. Leaking terracotta storm water drain pipe at the joint. There used to be a tree and roots got between the joint which we have partially removed the roots. The tree no longer exist. The water leaking from that joint caused a void under the concrete and we found out only because we noticed the earth next to the concrete path was sinking. We have dug and found the source of the problem being the tree root. It was suggested that we just need to remove the rest of the root around the top and side then reseal the joint as there doesn't seem to be a crack. There was also suggestion of doing relining of the pipe. Happy to consider the most economical fix for this issue. Thanks.
