I need someone to fix a small crack in a poly water tank. It is about half way up the tank and on a seam. Water drips/dribbles out so we can only half fill the tank. I assume some sort of heat gun could be used to fix it. I’ve tried sealers and special tape with no success.

I've been living away from my parents for a few year now and have only found out that their Hot water system is no longer working throughout the house and they no longer have any hot water. While cleaning the tap filter photo attached the water supplier pipe from the tap got sucked inside. Need to get that out and attach to the tap filter. Not a very hard task but I have no clue how to do it
