Small crack in water pipe letting out water mist. See temporary patch work with black duct tape. The pipe appears to be bronze type pipe normally use for gas. The pipe is old and installed by the previous owner. Suspect spot welding might be required but happy to hear recommendation.

I want to install a basin inside toilet. It’s an old house. No ready water line and waste line. You will need to drill the adjacent wall to make the waste and water line.
