The first half of the job is the replacement of the skiylight dome and frame and trim on the kitchen roof. The dome size is about 92cm x 92cm. A set of new skylight dome and frame and trim shall be supplied and installed. There need to be warranty periods for the product and the workmanship. I don't really care how bright or transparant the skylight could be, but I do want it to be solid and robust and watertight. The other half of the job is to extend a rangehood vent to above the roof. The existing vent is inside of the cabinet, and it has a rectangle shape and is made of metal. However, it goes only just above the ceiling. What I want is to have the vent extended up above the roof, so that cooking fumes and odors can be vented to the exterior of the house. Warranty period is also needed for this part of the job. Since both the skylight and the rangehood are in the kitchen. I suppose it would be more convenient and cost effective to have them bundled as one job. I am not in a hurry, but if you'd like come to have a look or to start the work right away in the coming few days, I can also arrange. There's an illustration in the attached picture. It would be very useful if the cost of the skylight product can be separately indicated, so that the uncertainty of the size won't eat into your income and won't eat into the skylight product quality too.
