I am working from home. Even with a good 100 mpbs download speed plan, I can't achieve a satisfactory internet connection and speed in every room (5 rooms) of a 2 storeyed townhouse. We are a family of 10 users (~6 active users during office hours and 10 users after office hours) I have tried wifi extenders and wifi mesh technology to get the result but failed. We needed to fix this problem either by finding the correct location for the router or shift the nbn connection from the provider to a suitable location in the house to solve the problem.

Set up DD-WRT so it connects to the internet via Ethernet and so 2.4G and 5G wifi can be shared with others. Firmware has been installed on router but now internet is not working. Network adapter trouble shooter says Ethernet doesn’t have a valid IP configuration. If possible also set up a bridge connection.
Vitri’s partner Leo did an excellent job at trouble shooting my router configuration that was using DD-WRT, and now I’m connected to the internet again. I’m very happy with the results. I highly recommend using his service for IT troubleshooting.

Configure ZTE H1600 modem from Superloop to iiNet (FTTB)

I changed the ISP at home from Superloop to iiNet. I have a nearly new ZTE H1600 modem that came from Superloop. I want to reconfigure it for iiNet (FTTB). However, whilst I can login to the modem as an admin, I do not know how to reconfigure the settings to switch it to iiNet.
